Part 1 Students worked on completing the Water Preditiction activity from last class. See Mon./Tues. 8/23 and 3/24/2021 to access that assignment. Part 2 Once students had successfully completed the Part 1 activity, they were given the Oil in the Middle East: Read and Respond activity to begin. Pages 1 and 3 were to be completed in class. Pages 2 and 4 will be completed as a class during Friday's class period. Part 1
Students completed their SW Asia Geography Vocabulary Ticket In the Door (formative assessment). Students began a predictions and read and respond activity on where people live and work in SW Asia. Also we watched a video that explains causes and effects of water scarcity in SW Asia, as well as a desalination video starring, our very own, Mr. Shively! Water Crisis video Water Predictions Presentation Water Predictions worksheet Today was a review/catch up day for the activities that were initatied this week. Students were given the opportunity to review all their SW Asia maps, and complete the SW Asia Phyiscal Geography Read and Respond from earlier in the week. Students had the opportunity to complete the SW Asia geography Frayer-style vocabulary assignments. Some classes were able to participate in the SW Asia Geography Kahoot!

PART 1: Students will complete a Photo Analysis Station activity. We will briefly review skills that were introduced from the previous class. Students will work in groups to identify and anlyaze various photos. There are several questions that students will attempt to answer about each photograph. There are 10 photos in all, students will choose the six that they want to analyze. Photo Analysis Presentation (the questions are located in the presentation) PART 2: Students will watch Flocabulary and BrainPop videos and take notes from the Charts and Graphs Analysis presentation. They will then complete the Charts and Graph Analysis Worksheet. If time permits we will review for Friday's quiz.
