Advisement Class- Today is "Reading for Enjoyment!" Have your favorite or current book handy and lets drop everything and read! I will am reading "I'm Judging You" by Luvvie Ajayi. Remember, there are REP points to be earned for being prepared with your own book! 1st Period and 5th Period- Today's lesson will introduce Ethnic and Religious Groups. During Synchronous Learning we will have a brief discussion about the differences between Ethnic and Religious groups, we will watch the "What is the Difference Between Arabs and Muslims" video. After watching the video as a class we will complete the "Arabs" EdPuzzle activity. During Asynchronous Learning students will read about Arab culture and complete the Arab Cultures Features Form. The information to complete the form is linked within the form. B-Day- Tuesday, 10/6/2020 Advisement Class- "Hispanic Heritage Month" Day. Students will choose a famous Hispanic person from the list. You will then complete some basic research to answer these questions. A helpful website, Biography.com, is linked to the form. You will answer these questions as if you were interviewing the person. 2nd Period and 6th Period- Today's lesson will introduce Ethnic and Religious Groups.
