A Day- Monday, 10/19/2020
Advisement Class- Today is "Reading for Enjoyment!" Have your favorite or current book handy and lets drop everything and read! I will am reading "Why are all...", By Dr. Beverly Tatum. Remember, there are REP points to be earned for being prepared with your own book! 1st Period and 5th Period- We will take a few minutes to review the school-wide PBIS expectations. Today we will start the "What's the Cost of Water?" IDM. We will work on Tasks 1. Virtual students will complete the assignment in Class notebook. Face to Face students will be given a hard (paper) copy of today's assignment or if they have their own devices they may complete it in Class notebook as well. During Synchronous Time, we will work on completing Task 1 together, and I will model the Desalination portion of Task 2. Students will analyze various maps, watch videos, and answer several questions. During Asynchronous Time, students will work independently to complete the remaining section of Task 2 and Task 3. Students will watch several videos that they will use to complete a Bubble Map. During Synchronous Time closing, we will review all the responses for the first three tasks.
