Advisement Class- STEAM Day! PowerPoint and Art. Students at home will be given a tutorial on using the drawing features in PowerPoint (Google Slides). 1st Period and 5th Period- Synchronous Live Opening: For today's lesson, students will be learn about four major ethnic groups and cultures on the continent of Africa. e Students will read two articles and complete an African Ethnic and Religious group chart. They will then use those notes as well as notes from a presentation to fill out a blank map of Africa. The map will highlight where certain ethnic groups live, family size, languages that are spoken to name a few. We will use elements from the Sketchnoting strategy, such as symbols, drawings, to name a few.
